Critic’s Corner – Lakeview Lodge

Tonight was an evening at the Lake View Lodge in Treasure Lake.

The Pirates Cove Bar was exceptionally busy tonight. It reminded me of when I was a young man, back then it was the place to be and always crowded.

Not only was the place abounding with live music but the room was filled with the sounds of people laughing, visiting and enjoying good food.

I ordered the honey glazed salmon…it was served on a bed of asparagus encircled with a tangy gravy and garnished with artichoke hearts. The presentation was second to none.

I have to be honest it was the very best salmon I ever had while dining out. Salutations to the chef!

A Side salad was served with dinner.I enjoyed the house sweet-and-sour dressing on it… it was amazing. .. a warmed bun and softened butter topped it off. (I hate cold dinner rolls and butter hard as a rock). The chef thought of everything.

If you have not tried the Lake View Lodge lately you are missing out on a wonderful dining experience right here in our own backyard!

Bon Appetit!
