Treasure Lake continues to be a very desirable place to live ….. with our two beautiful lakes, two golf courses and vast picturesque surroundings it’s no wonder!
It proved to be a busy time for real estate in 2018 in our community as, according to the MLS, we saw 106 homes sell ranging in price from $40,000 to $815,000. Twenty-one of the homes that sold were lake front properties. In addition, seventeen Treasure Lake lake lots and two camps were sold. The average “days” on the market was 145 days. For those of you who are curious, the previous few years sales in Treasure Lake were as follows, 103 in 2015, 138 in 2016 and 119 in 2017.
In 2018, Treasure Lake POA issued 8 building permits (for new homes) and one permit has been issued so far in 2019. According to the POA, the previous few years (2015, 2016, 2017) had an average of 10 permits issued annually.
In addition, the Treasure Lake rental market should be mentioned as it too has been busy. Rentals generally range from $700 all the way up to $2000. The average Treasure Lake rental rarely stays available long. Investors continue to pursue homes to purchase in our area due to all our community
has to offer their future tenants.
While looking at this year’s market, it appears that the Treasure Lake sales are already off to a great start. As of March 3, sixteen homes have sold, twenty are sale pending and fifty-three are listed for sale. With spring just
around the corner, I’m sure we will be welcoming lots of new residents to our little resort community!
