Volunteer Fire Company Practices Rescue Techniques Over the Weekend – Slideshow

On Sunday, March 24, the North Point Volunteer Fire Company spent the afternoon training with their neighbors from Penfield Fire Dept. They practiced rescue techniques using various types of hand tools and hydraulic cutters.

“We are always looking for new members. Anything from new firefighters, to people to help fund raise. Any help is always welcomed,” says Eric Tinker, Assistant Chief. Community members looking to join can call the station at (814) 371-9144 and request an application and someone will return their call.
