Sandy Township Police Reports Mar 26-28

March 26, 2019

Officers responded to a Maple Avenue residence for a reported domestic dispute between a 35 year old woman and her live in boyfriend. The two had gotten into an argument which got physical. Officers handled the situation without incident.

The owner of the Friendly Tavern reported that an unknown male stole a can of beer from the six pack shop. Investigation continues.

A 53 year old Platt Road woman reported that she received a phone call from an unknown male who accused her of laundering money and advised her that there were warrants out for her arrest. He told her he could only help her if she provided her social security number, which she did, before she realized it was a scam.

Officers received a report of a disturbance at a S. Main Street residence. A 53 year old man was smashing his things and calling a woman in the house names. Officers handled the situation without incident.

March 27, 2019

A Clear Run Road residence reported his mail box got smashed by an unknown individual.

March 28, 2019

A 55 year old Treasure Lake man reported that he parked his truck in the Walmart parking lot in January and when he returned to get it on this date the vehicle was gone. Upon investigation it was found Walmart had it towed because they thought it was abandoned.
