Sandy Township Police Reports – April 5-7

April 5, 2019

Officers were called to a Treasure Lake residence for an out of control 29 year old male. Upon arrival officers found the man in the front yard of the residence. The man was belligerent with officers and EMS, as well as his family that was on scene. He was taken into custody and transported to CCJ. Charges pending.

April 6, 2019

A 53 year old Brookville woman reported that she lost her Iphone while at a meeting at the Lakeview Lodge. The phone was later found in a restroom in the building, and was heavily damaged.

An Edinger Road man reported that his dog was hit by a black, Dodge Pick-Up towing a utility trailer that fled the scene, and headed north of SR 255.

A 34 year old Wasson Ave. woman reported that her chocolate Lab went missing.

Officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a Wasson Ave. driveway. Upon investigation officers found it was a 22 year old Grampian woman who was waiting for her girlfriend. The situation was handled without incident.

A 24 year old Weedville man reported that he dropped two $100 bills in the Walmart parking lot, and when he went to retrieve them a 22 year old Penfield man was picking them up, and refused to return them.

April 7, 2019

A board member of Dad’s Horseshoe Club on No. 2 Shaft Road reported that someone had broken into their building. Nothing was reported missing from the building.

A 21 year old DuBois woman lost control of her vehicle lost control of her vehicle while traveling, when the steering locked up, causing it to leave the roadway and hit a tree. Moderate damage and minor injuries reported.
