Two Treasure Lake residents were involved in a minor accident in the area of Eat N Park on Bee Line Highway. No injuries reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

A vehicle driven by a 64 year old Houtzdale woman slowed down while traveling on Behringer Highway, due to a bus stopped in the opposite lane, that was waiting to turn into a parking lot; a vehicle driven by a 40 year old DuBois man rounded a bend and was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting the woman’s vehicle, pushing her vehicle into the front of the stopped school bus. Both drivers of the vehicles and a passenger were treated for injuries. The driver of the bus was uninjured, and there were not students on the bus at the time of the accident. Both of the passenger vehicles were towed from the scene, and the bus sustained damage to the front drivers side bumper, and was driven off of the roadway.

Officers responded to a Treasure Lake residence for a reported disturbance between an 18 year old and his grandfather. The disturbance was verbal only and officers handled the situation without incident.
