The Soul Platter Cafe will be hosting two volunteer training dates in May and invite anyone interested in serving the DuBois-area community at the cafe to attend. Volunteer training and cafe tours will be held Thursday, May 16, at 6:30 pm and Saturday, May 18, at 9:30 am. Pick one date and let us know you are attending by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday, May 15.
Our goal is to provide a safe, friendly, enjoyable, and uplifting environment for you to serve. While assisting at the cafe, not only will you be a blessing to the lives you touch, but your own life will be equally blessed by the good you are doing to make a difference in this community.
We love our volunteers and are humbled and privileged by the opportunity to welcome you into the SPC community café family and serve alongside you in this awesome mission.
The Soul Platter Café is a non-profit café/restaurant, and an affiliate member of One World Everybody Eats (OWEE) Foundation. We welcome people of all walks of life, by serving healthy, quality meals, regardless of one’s ability to pay. At The Soul Platter Café, everyone matters.
