The Lake News is proud to sponsor the first annual Treasure Lake Community Member of the Year Award. Nominations are currently being accepted for individuals (or couples) whose volunteerism and outstanding service and dedication, compassion and selflessness have made a significant contribution to the Treasure Lake community.
We all know people that give of themselves because they are passionate about a cause, want to see change happen, want to make a difference, or because they simply care. These individuals have made a difference in our lives and in our community. The Lake News needs your help to recognize these individuals and say thank-you for what they have done to make Treasure Lake a better place.
“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.”– Coretta Scott King
Nominations are invited from individuals, businesses, organizations and community clubs and committees. A full list of details can be found on the Community Member of the Year Award Nomination Criteria form. All nominees must be nominated using the official Community Member of the Year Nomination Form. The closing date for the 2019 award is Friday, June 7, 2019.
An award banquet to be held in the recipient’s honor is currently being planned at the Lakeview Lodge for the end of June. Further details will be announced as they are available.
