Sponsored and organized by the Treasure Lake Sportsman’s Club, the annual Memorial Day Children’s Fishing Rodeo will be held Saturday, May 25 at Little Flipper Lake. The rodeo will run from 9 to noon and is open to children ages 12 and under.
As in years past, participants will receive lunch and a gift, as well as a bicycle for the children who catch the longest fish. There will be a raffle for 25 fishing rods and reels as well as a table to do sand art necklaces.
Food will be available to purchase for adults….$0.50 cent hot dogs, drinks and chips. The event will be held rain or shine.
A clean-up day will be held prior to the event on Sunday, May 19th beginning at 9am for anyone interested in helping get Little Flipper ready for the big day.
