BUDS Gardeners Annual Plant Bazaar This Weekend in DuBois

The BUDS Gardeners, a gardening community service group, will be holding their annual Plant Bazaar at Charlie’s Alternators on Franklin Street and Park Avenue, DuBois, on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31 from 10-5, and on Saturday, June 1 from 10-2.

All plants are raised and donated by the members to support the Street Pot program, the Monarch program and educational gardening programs throughout the year in the DuBois area. All plants are raised in paper pots so there is no plastic to damage roots or to dispose of.

For pre-orders or questions, call Cheryl at 590-9010 or e-mail cshenkle@verizon.net.

The BUDS Gardeners meet at the First United Presbyterian Church on the first Thursday of every month at 6 PM.  The church is the big stone building at 43 W. Scribner Avenue on the corner of High Street and Scribner Avenue.  Parking is free on the street and by parking permit in the City of DuBois parking lot.  Go to the Red Door at ground level on Scribner to the right of the steps.  The meeting is in the basement of the church.

We always love meeting new friends and prospective members. Just ask for a membership form so we can make sure you’re included in all correspondence!
