Water Aerobics Is For Men Too!

A water aerobics class will be held on June 5 at 10:15 a.m. for men to join their wife/girlfriend/significant other or to come alone to discover the fun of exercising in the pool.

Men are always welcome to any water aerobics class but this one will allow men to be introduced to the benefits of exercising in water.

Water aerobics can improve the cardiovascular and respiratory system in the same ways as cycling or running. Water is about 800 times denser than air, so it provides about 12 times more resistance. That means the moves you do in the pool can work your entire body, particularly your arms, legs, shoulders, and core. This is a good option for people who are struggling with arthritic pain, recovering from surgery or an injury, or are overweight.

Come on guys – I double dare ya!
