Close to fifty Ladies of the Lake club members met yesterday at the Lakeview Lodge along with a couple dozen Treasure Lake residents to attend the annual candidate forum hosted by the club. The club meeting started at noon with a pulled pork slider and cole slaw lunch with blueberry crumb cake for dessert. The candidate forum followed at 1pm and was open to all Treasure Lake property owners.
Six of the seven candidates running for TLPOA Board of Directors were in attendance: Kenneth States, John “Brad” Laughner, Kristine Gasbarre, Robert Gomola, Timothy Connors, and Toni Clark-Moulthrop. Bryon Billings was unable to attend but submitted a statement to be read in his absence.
Former Ladies of the Lake club President, Laura Clary, moderated the forum. Each candidate was asked the same questions, submitted previously by club members, and given 60 seconds to respond. The forum was then followed by a short meet and greet for residents to get better acquainted with the candidates.
Next month’s Ladies of the Lake meeting will be held July 10th at the Lakeview Lodge. The speaker is John Straitiff from PA Great Outdoors. Sign in is between 11:30-11:45am and lunch begins at noon.
