This Day in Treasure Lake July 1975 – Treasure Lake Social Life Has Many Facets

Reprinted from the Treasure Chest July-August, 1975

Social and recreational activity at Treasure Lake, DuBois includes golf, swimming, horseback riding, and Country Club events. One of the recent Ladies’ Golf Clinics given by Pro Lou Michaels was held at the practice sand trap near the Pro Shop (top). Below, Maggie Johnson and Cletis Owen of Ladies of the Lake show their handiwork at a Club hobby display.

Above, little Pat Bubnik, son of Stables Manager Crustal Bubnik, gets acquainted with “Cinnamon,” a registered quarter horse colt owned by Sue Hommel. Below, swimmers cool off in the olympic-size Clubhouse pool.
